This position is located at our customer Wärtsilä, in Kampen.
This is a technically fascinating and varied role where no two days are the same! You'll work in a great team of seven colleagues and be responsible for maintaining both the logistics automation and equipment, as well as building management. You'll maintain systems such as pallet cranes, mini-load cranes, and associated conveyor systems. You'll work early, late, and (sometimes) night shifts (24/5), including standby arrangements (night and weekend). You'll have the opportunity to develop your skills in various technologies, and Swisslog can also offer various training courses in this area.
You will be permanently based at the site of our customer Wärtsilä in Kampen
Your responsibilities include:
- Performing preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Resolving malfunctions and user problems related to mechanical, electronic, and automation (PLC & IT) where time is of the essence. While familiarity with PLC is desirable, we emphasize that programming skills are not required.
- Organizing improvements or repairs.
- Establishing documentation, maintenance, inspections, and management of technical systems or equipment.
What you need to succeed
- You hold a Technical E-/WTB education at a minimum “MBO” level.
- Broad knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, electrical installations, and automation systems is preferred. Swisslog can offer training in these areas if necessary.
- Self-starter mentality and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Comfortable finding smart, temporary solutions when circumstances call for it, keeping work moving forward.
- Comfortable and able to organize and carry out a job independently.
- Good customer service skills, including the ability to communicate at all levels.
- Good knowledge of the Dutch and English language, in both writing and speech.
