Make an impact
- The Area Sales Manager will play a proactive role in defining an area strategy based on existing accounts and potential new customers. It is expected that new customers will account for 40% of business within the defined area. The ASM will take on Year-on-Year sales growth expectations for KUKA products, and taking a proactive role in driving new products, technology and partners.
- The Area Sales Manager will stay close to delivery status / challenges of jobs in their portfolio as he/she maintains relationships with client stakeholders, remain connected with delivery counterparts and provide support from a relationship perspective, as needed.
- To establish and/or develop relationship with existing channel partner accounts and new End User accounts in UK with coordination with the Sales Support team.
- Interpret client requirements, identify and address design parameters and engineering problems and ensure solutions are implemented accurately and within budget.
- To act as sales responsible for both product sales (robots and AMR) and KUKA’s excellent support offering, including service, training, consultancy, spares, etc.
What you need to succeed
- Batchelors Degree in Engineering discipline.
- Negotiation and project management experience.
- Proven capability of building relationships with Shop Floor Engineers, Senior Managers/Advanced Manufacturing
Engineers/Maintenance & Product Engineering Departments. - Proposal/RFP creation and leading RFP/proposal presentations.
- Proficient with MS office, SAP & Sales Force.
- Robotics & Automation experience/commercial & technical highly desirable.
