Make an impact
- Define and implement a global ITAM framework covering hardware, software, and cloud assets,
- develop and implement policies for asset lifecycle management, including acquisition, allocation, monitoring, and secure disposal,
- define and execute the global roadmap for ITAM and ITSM tools (e.g., FreshService, ServiceNow, LeanIX),
- establish governance for tool usage, configuration standards, and integration with CMDB and ERP systems,
- manage ITAM/ITSM tool (e.g. FreshService) and ensure integration with other systems,
- drive license compliance and cost optimization through tool-based analytics and reporting,
- manage ITSM platform capabilities: Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Service Catalog,
- enable self-service and AI-driven support features to improve user experience,
- oversee end-to-end asset lifecycle processes and enforce accurate asset tracking in CMDB and LeanIX,
- drive license compliance and audit readiness for software and cloud subscriptions,
- drive automation for asset onboarding/offboarding and reporting,
- lead a team of tool administrators, process owners and operational supporters,
- collaborate with Procurement for vendor negotiations and license agreements,
- act as primary contact for audits, compliance checks, and executive reporting.
What you need to succeed
- Bachelor`s or Master`s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field,
- 5+ years of experience in IT operations, ITAM, ITSM, or end-user services, with at least 3 years in a leadership role,
- proven experience in managing ITAM and ITSM platforms globally,
- proven experience in IT Asset Management leadership within global organizations,
- strong knowledge of ITIL processes, ISO27001 compliance, and asset lifecycle management,
- expertise in FreshService, ServiceNow or equivalent ITSM tools and CMDB design,
- SAM/HAM/ITIL/FinOps certificatons preferred,
- excellent leadership, communication, vendor management and stakeholder engagement skills,
- exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English (German is a plus).
