Make an impact
- Design of production parts taking into account manufacturing requirements (e.g. machining, sheet metal forming, welded assemblies) ,
- Development and design of castings (sand casting, die casting, investment casting) incl. consideration of casting suitability and post-processing,
- Design and dimensioning of mechanical components according to the requirements,
- Strength calculations using analytical methods and FEM to ensure component integrity,
- Component selection taking into account technical, economic and normative criteria,
- Design of complete drive trains, including selection of couplings, bearings, gearboxes and motors,
- Preparation of legally required verification documentation, e.g. declarations of conformity, risk assessments and technical documentation in accordance with MRL and relevant standards (e.g. EN ISO 12100),
- Conception and construction of demo and exhibition cells for the presentation of new technologies and products,
- Creation of application packages for customer-specific solutions, including mechanical integration, documentation and handover to sales and service,
- Consideration and application of DIN EN ISO 10218- 1 /- 2 (Safety requirements for industrial robots and robot systems),
- Creation and maintenance of variant configurations in Excel, including complex formulas, macro programming, data links and automated evaluations,
- Cooperation with internal departments (e.g. electrics, control technology, purchasing, production) as well as external partners and suppliers,
- Confident handling of common Microsoft Office applications.
What you need to succeed
- Completed studies in the field of mechanical engineering, mechatronics or comparable,
- Several years of professional experience in mechanical design, ideally in mechanical or plant engineering,
- Sound knowledge of CAD systems (Siemens NX),
- Experience in the use of calculation tools (ANSYS) and FKM guideline,
- Deep understanding of the applicable standards for product developments in accordance with the Machinery Directive,
- Experience in the preparation of technical documentation and risk assessments,
- Creativity and technical understanding for the development of demonstrators and application solutions,
- Fluent English and Hungarian language skills.
