Make an impact
- Requesting and comparing quotations, conducting negotiations, preparing and concluding contracts
- Developing and implementing product-group-specific supplier strategies
- Managing procurement of first samples and pre-series products; handing over ordering of series-ready products to operational purchasing
- Maintaining logistical, commercial, and technical master data in the SAP system
- Monitoring agreed conditions and reconciling discrepancies; clarifying invoices in case of price deviations
- Continuous monitoring of supplier performance and implementing corrective measures
- Proactive risk management
- Close collaboration with advanced purchasing in cross-functional projects such as value analysis, target costing, standardization, and “make or buy” decisions
What you need to succeed
- University degree in economics/logistics or commercial/technical qualification with several years of purchasing experience
- At least 5 years professional experience in procuring electronic Components, PCBA and Sensor Technologies
- Proficiency in MS Office and SAP
- Negotiation-level English skills; German is an advantage
- Independent and dynamic working style
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills and a sense of responsibility
- Willingness to travel occasionally
