Make an impact
- Ensures compliance with financial policies and procedures,
- handling day to day financial transactions (invoice processing), including verifying, classifying and recording accounts payable data,
- reconciling the accounts payable ledger and payment accounts,
- investigating and resolving basic discrepancies to facilitate timely invoice payments,
- reconciling vendor accounts and reviewing monthly vendor statements,
- generating reports as requested to track accounts payable status,
- create payment proposals,
- generate payment runs,
- basic understanding of expense accounts and cost centers,
- awareness of compliance issues related to accounts payable processes.
What you need to succeed
- Ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records,
- data entry skills and attention to details,
- experience with spreadsheets and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.),
- proficiency in Microsoft Office,
- solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles,
- minimum of a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 1-2 years of relevant experience,
- strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal,
- ability to read and interpret complex business and/or technical documents.
