Make an impact
- Bringing in market & technology knowledge for the new development or modification of products with the aim of cost savings already during the development phase,
- Time coordination of supplier integration in the development process in cooperation with Material Group Manager (MGM),
- Preparation of preliminary calculations for new products and communication, especially in development, as a basis for further cost reductions,
- Initiating, planning and implementing of cross-functional projects for cost savings, standardization projects, use of new manufacturing processes, etc.,
- Coordination of deadlines for cross-functional projects, close coordination with MGM and communication with the relevant specialist departments,
- Development of value analyses, target costing, total cost of ownership, product life cycle analyses, intensive technology analyses,
- Collaboration in the definition of purchasing/material group/supplier strategies as interface to design/development, sales, product management and production,
- Know-how transfer (technologies and products) internally and externally,
- Participation in strategic decisions (make-or-buy, substitution, standardization, modular models etc.) from a cost perspective.
What you need to succeed
- Successful completion of an engineering - scientific training within the context of a university degree,
- At least 5 years professional experience in the development of serial products, or at the interface technology/design/development and purchasing/logistics/materials management,
- Experience in procuring electrical Components for Robot controller and Cobots,
- High analytical, calculatory and process-oriented thinking skills,
- High momentum and initiative,
- Assertiveness, co-operation and capability,
- Negotiation-level English and Hungarian skills; German is a plus,
- Willingness to travel occasionally.
