Swisslog has an opportunity for a trade assistant to support one of our customer site teams based in Leppington, Sydney. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the maintenance and upkeep of our state-of-the-art systems
Make an impact
This opportunity will be on a regular roster of Monday-Friday from 10am-6pm, supporting the morning and afternoon shift on site.
Here's what you'll do:
- Ensuring the smooth operation of our Material Handling System through regular preventative and corrective maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Providing support during facility working hours and addressing mechanical issues as needed.
- Replacing defective parts, carrying out inspections, and performing daily maintenance and cleaning tasks.
- Maintaining records within our Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and adhering to relevant standards and procedures.
- Prioritsing safety by reporting incidents, following safety guidelines, and complying with Swisslog's safety management system.
What you need to succeed
- You have a basic understanding of mechanical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
- You have the ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects, working at heights, and climbing ladders.
- You’re a strong team player with a commitment to maintaining positive relationships with colleagues.
- You are dedicated to safety and prioritise safety in all work activities.
