Swisslog has an opportunity for experienced Maintenance Technician with an Electrician background who is passionate about robotics and has a desire to work for an automation powerhouse.
Make an impact
We are looking for someone who is an experienced and qualified Electrician with demonstrated skills in maintaining and repairing technical systems.
We have opportunities available for 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm shifts. The successful candidate will join one of our existing site teams for 6-8 weeks of training before permanently being based in Truganina.
Here's what you'll do:
- Install, maintain and trouble shoot electrical supply and control circuits and equipment
- Breakdown support during the facility working hours
- Trouble shooting as necessary
- Preventative and corrective maintenance of the PLC and control systems
- Take responsibility for your own safety and the safety of co-workers, contractors and visitors
- Maintain all required documentation
- Carry out inspections, services and cleaning in accordance with the sites relevant programs
What you need to succeed
- You have a current trade qualification and license as an Electrician or a relevant field
- You’re experienced in repairing and maintaining technical systems in a production environment or similar
- You are a team player and experienced in managing multiple priorities
- You have a strong commitment to safety, quality and customer satisfaction
- You have high levels of physical fitness and are capable of exerting sustained physical effort
- You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of PLC controlled plant and equipment and/or pneumatic equipment desirable
- Experience in the FMCH industry is desirable
