Make an impact

  • Design, develop, and customize SAP-based solutions, primarily in an ABAP environment,
  • integrate and manage business documents and content generated in SAP systems using DMS / ECM solutions, primarily based on OpenText,
  • collaborate with functional and technical teams (SAP and non-SAP) to design integration scenarios,
  • participate in SAP S/4HANA rollouts, with a strong focus on document management and archiving processes,
  • analyze and develop document generation processes related to SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, FI),
  • implement and maintain SAP–ECM integrations (e.g., ArchiveLink, SOAP/REST-based connections),
  • create, document, and independently implement technical and functional concepts,
  • participate in business workshops, solution demonstrations, and provide key user support,
  • actively participate in internal projects, serving as a link between SAP and document management domains,
  • provide third-level expert support for incidents and problems,
  • maintain existing solutions and proactively initiate continuous improvements,
  • analyze and automate content- and document-oriented processes using existing solutions.

What you need to succeed

  • completed higher education in IT / business informatics, or equivalent professional experience (4-7 years),
  • strong SAP development experience (ABAP, ABAP OO) on integration or business-related projects,
  • good knowledge of core SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, FI) and their document management processes,
  • experience integrating SAP DMS, ArchiveLink, or external ECM/DMS solutions into SAP,
  • basic or advanced knowledge in using REST / SOAP APIs,
  • experience in an S/4HANA environment is an advantage,
  • understanding of document and archiving concepts (e.g., early / late archiving),
  • basic system-level knowledge (Windows Server, Tomcat, interface operations),
  • analytical mindset, ability to work independently, and a high level of initiative,
  • strong communication and presentation skills with both business and technical stakeholders,
  • confident English language skills; German language skills are an advantage,
  • willingness to travel occasionally domestically or internationally.
