Short Description

Our Enterprise Service IT department develop and deliver IT solutions that are used across multiple platforms and countries. Consulting, conception and implementation to achieve the fitting business processes within our SAP landscape are as important as continuous support and improvement of our internal customers.

The team SAP Finance and Controlling (SAP FICO) ensures efficient processes within the finance area. We consult to find innovative solutions based on the SAP ERP backend with various Add-Ons.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and assertive type of person who enjoys working in a team within an international environment. You communicate openly and effectively with all groups and levels. As part of this role there will be a requirement for travel for approx. 1 or 2 weeks/year.

Make an impact

 

You will enhance our international SAP competence team by performing the following tasks:

  • Provide project activities and service availability for FICO functionality within the implemented SAP solutions (ECC 6.0 as well as S/4 HANA)
  • Responsibility and quality assurance for all FICO related SAP development and implementation tasks
  • Close collaboration with the global IT teams in Augsburg (Germany), Budapest (Hungary), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) and Redditch (UK)
  • Coordination of FICO related tasks with our in-house SAP development team as well as external partners
  • Creating technical concepts, development, and implementation of company-specific applications based on SAP ABAP, ABAP OO, S4/HANA, SAP BTP and SAP FIORI
  • Programming of interfaces (e.g. OData, BAPI, RFC, SOAP, and ALE) also in conjunction with non-SAP applications such as ESB
  • Development and extension of forms (SAP Interactive Forms, SAP Smart Forms, SAP Script)
  • Coordination of change requests within SAP FICO
  • Analyze and create concepts of various financial and controlling requirements
  • Support (Incident resolution / document / train / consult) in the area of FICO.
  • Team up with stakeholders and key users in the regions to provide SAP expertise.
  • Documentation of processes and implementation
  • Experience with SAP Migrations

What you need to succeed

 

  • Bachelor/Master degree with focus on finance/informatics or comparable
  • Excellent knowledge and at least five years of experience in SAP software development and database modeling (ABAP, ABAP Objects, CDS, HANA)
  • Excellent knowledge in GUI development (SAP GUI, SAP UI5, Web Dynpro ABAP)
  • Good knowledge in interface programming (OData, SOAP, ALE, RFC, BAPI)
  • Good knowledge in form development (Adobe Interactive Forms, SAP Smart Forms, SAP Script)
  • SAP FICO Knowledge as a benefit
  • Willingness for continuous education and learning new technologies
  • Team player with a strong customer service and solution orientation
  • Resilient and motivated
  • Cross-module SAP knowledge is an advantage
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (an appreciation of German is also a plus)
