Resident Site Engineer – P&G, Skelmersdale. Working rotating 8-hour shifts Monday to Friday (6-2 / 2-10 / 7-3) NO NIGHTS. Salary dependent on experience, plus excellent company benefits to include company contributory pension scheme and private healthcare.
Resident Site Engineer
- Electrical and mechanical breakdown and planned preventative maintenance on a variety of automated machinery, to include dock leveller, packaging machinery, chain and roller conveyors and cranes.
- Prioritising system faults in line with the customers operation and requirements.
- Always comply with Health & Safety legislation.
- Working at heights.
- To always ensure quality of output and accurately record all work undertaken.
- To always represent the company in a professional manner and maintain excellent customer relations.
- To adhere to the Quality processes and procedures as set out by the company.
What you need to succeed
- An Apprentice trained Electrical Engineer or equivalent qualification.
- Wiring regulations / Inspection and testing OR willing to study for these.
- 17th or 18th Edition is desirable.
- Happy to work at heights.
- This is a customer facing role, so you must be able to communicate effectively at all levels.
