We are seeking a dynamic System Operations Manager to manage a number of our resident sites in the UK. Your role will require you to:-
Ensure effective management of existing customer contracts, maintaining compliance and service quality.
Continuously enhance services for existing customers to reflect technological advancements and evolving customer needs.
Identify opportunities for modernization and system extensions within the current customer base through proactive engagement.
Manage and develop System Operation in alignment with agreed objectives and budgetary targets.
Pursue new business opportunities as they arise and provide support to Account Management (AM) in developing these opportunities.
Renegotiate existing contracts (in collaboration with AM) and securing new System Operation agreements.
Develop and mentor the subordinate management team.
Oversee people management activities, including resource planning, motivation, coaching, coordination, and performance management.
Maintain a strong overview of System Operation status by efficient use of available reporting tools.
Maintain a strong and proactive safety culture and adherence to health and safety rules and regulations.
What you need to succeed
We are looking for a strong team player who is able to build strong collaborative relationships with other Swisslog departments and external partners, including sub-suppliers.
An effective communicator who always ensures the team is fully informed about ongoing customer issues, priorities, and demands.
Able to deliver professional presentations to customers.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
Experience in setting and controlling budgets. Assuring targeted revenues, expense and profit margins are reached by setting up an effective control and risk management mechanism for your SO sites and contracts.
A firm understanding of the department’s results and development, in order to perform regular financial reviews.
Strong technical and commercial knowledge, with the ability to sense customer needs and seize opportunities for incremental sales.
Able to make clear decisions, manage risks, plan and organize multiple tasks or projects simultaneously.
Develops new and innovative ideas.
