Make an impact

  • Ensure timely and accurate execution of accounting activities in line with internal controls and deadlines,
  • prepare, review and post journal entries,
  • support month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities,
  • participate in process transitions, migrations and standardization initiatives,
  • prepare and maintain process documentation,
  • collaborate proactively with stakeholders and cross-functional teams across the organization,
  • drive issue resolution and support continuous process improvement initiatives,
  • support internal and external audit activities,
  • perform balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis,
  • manage and reconcile Fixed Asset related accounting transactions,
  • process Bank statement bookings and follow up on open items, when necessary,
  • perform Bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies,
  • manage Intercompany accounting activities and follow up on IC differences,
  • reconcile intercompany balances across entities,
  • calculate and book various GL journals (e.g. accruals, provisions, prepayments).

Technical skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field,
  • 2-3 years of GL/RTR accounting experience, preferably in an SSC or multinational environment,
  • solid accounting knowledge and financial reporting experience,
  • SAP knowledge (FI/GL preferred),
  • confident user knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Excel,
  • understanding of IFRS and/or GAAP principles,
  • experience in process transitions and standardization initiatives is a plus,
  • professional English communication skills, both written and verbal,
  • additional European language skills (Italian, Spanish, German, French) are considered an advantage,
  • willingness to travel occasionally within Europe for training and transition purposes.
