The Quality and Training Specialist shall conduct initial and remedial training for new and existing Swisslog Healthcare pneumatic tube system installation subcontractors in accordance with the training program syllabus.  Additionally, they will be responsible for periodic quality checks on installation progress and standards.  Training and quality are successfully administered and managed through site visits, completing appropriate inspections, and reporting findings to all stakeholders.  This individual is also expected to implement corrective actions as required.

 

 

Effective communication, written and verbal, are essential to the success of this role so that issues are clearly identified and communicated to all stakeholders through to resolution.

 

 

The Quality and Training Specialist may be required to conduct installation activities on a case-by-case basis for corrective work or small projects if a subcontractor could not be identified.

 

 

Please note that position requires frequent overnight travel (60-80%). 

Ideally, this individual will reside in the Philadelphia, PA area; however, consideration will also be given to qualified applicants in other areas. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Conduct initial and remedial training for new and existing Swisslog Healthcare pneumatic tube system installation subcontractors in accordance with the training program syllabus. 
  • Responsible for periodic quality checks on installation progress and standards. 
  • Successfully administer and manage training and quality through site visits, completing appropriate inspections, and reporting findings to all stakeholders. 
  • Implement corrective actions as required.

  • Frequent overnight travel (60-80%) is required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of the hospital construction industry, with an aptitude for three-dimensional visualization and systems design concepts. 
  • 3-5 years of experience installing pneumatic tube systems preferred. Plumbing and/or mechanical piping systems in a leadership role and in a semi-unsupervised capacity will also be considered.

Desirable, but not Essential:

  • Demonstrated experience as a trainer of individuals or small groups on pneumatic tube installation techniques.

 

Compensation:  Starting salary range for this position is $80,000 - 100,000.  Salary will be commensurate with experience and skillset. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical / dental / vision insurance, tuition reimbursement, disability, 401k matching (up to 8%).
