Make an impact
The Workplace Administrator manages all aspects of the company`s desktop management suite and IT service management tool. This includes building and troubleshooting Windows images, creating and updating software deployments packages, deployment of OS and application patches and monitoring endpoints for compliance.
The Workplace Administrator is also responsible for thorough documentation, project planning and coordination, and IT Support training.
- Global position that must interact with support personnel in various regions
- Operation, maintenance, and expansion of the client/endpoint/workplace infrastructure (Microsoft Intune, Baramundi)
- Management of client policies and client updates in Microsoft Intune
- Package, test and troubleshoot computer images with support for multiple languages
- Package, test, troubleshoot and deploy applications and scripts (e.g. PowerShell)
- Deploy and monitor OS and application patches
- Generate and maintain global workplace reports
- Mobile device management via Intune
- Manage, execute, or support IT Projects as required
- Manage global remote support solution
- Teams Telephony administration
- Document solutions and procedures; organize and update existing knowledge articles
- Group Policy Management
- Evaluate the security of endpoints and implement necessary security measures
- Support Audits and certifications (ISO27001, TISAX etc.)
What you need to succeed
- Several years of professional experience in the area of Microsoft Endpoints (Windows 10/11), Microsoft 365 and on-premises client infrastructure) e.g. Microsoft Endpoint Administrator Associate
- In-depth knowledge of IT basic infrastructure (Active Directory, Entra, DNS, DHCP, etc.)
- In-depth knowledge with Microsoft 365 Platform (Intune, Teams Phone, Office etc.)
- Experience in Linux distributions (e.g. Ubuntu, RedHat etc.)
- Experience in scripting with PowerShell, VBScript, Batch, Python, Ruby or other languages
- Basic Security and Compliance knowledge e.g. Microsoft Security, Compliance and Identity Fundamentals
- Basic Public Cloud fundamentals e.g. Azure Virtual Desktop
- ITIL knowledge
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to ensure customer satisfaction
