Make an impact
- Prepare and submit monthly financial statements, quarterly forecasts, annual budgets, tax reports, and other financial reports for publication in the Corporate Financial News by Group Controlling.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, compliance, and adherence to corporate guidelines and local accounting and tax regulations when preparing financial data for audits and tax purposes.
- Lead timely period-end closing activities, including account reconciliations and verification of financial records to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Oversee the preparation of financial accounting in compliance with local accounting standards and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Compile month-end cash flow data, prepare 12‑month cash flow forecasts, and upload the information into the Corporate Treasury system.
- Monitor and manage foreign currency hedging contracts in collaboration with Corporate Treasury and local banks.
- Compile and submit periodic tax filings (e.g., GST/VAT, payroll tax, withholding tax), ensuring compliance with tax regulations across all relevant countries.
- Prepare final accounts and manage corporate tax matters.
- Serve as the primary contact for external financial audits and tax compliance audits.
- Provide validation support for vendor master data creation requests.
What you need to succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or professional qualification (eg, ACCA, CIMA)
- At least 1- 3 years of relevant working experience in similar capacity
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (particularly MS Excel) and SAP Accounting Software
- Possess good command of English, both spoken and written.
- Analytical and meticulous with great attention in details
- Good time management and able to perform multi-tasking in meeting deadlines
- Able to work under pressure
- Possess knowledge of International Financial Accounting Standards, specifically for Singapore, Australia and New Zealand and other Southeast Asia countries accounting standards, taxation regulations and other relevant business regulations
