As a cloud engineer, you are responsible for planning, creating, designing and deploying Cloud infrastructures based on the KUKA IT guidelines. Your tasks will include identifying and rectifying errors in cloud infrastructure or cloud applications. To do this, you will monitor data traffic on the one hand and the performance and availability of the cloud services on the other. You will also carry out regular maintenance work and identify potential for improvement in the cloud infrastructure in order to optimize the services. - Planning and implementation of cloud migrations to Microsoft Azure or AWS
- Creating standards and templates for the automation of deployments
- Identification of suitable cloud services to optimize the infrastructure and automate processes.
- Evaluation and implementation of new technologies, security measures and cost optimizations
- Advising and supporting our software developers in the migration of existing systems and the development of cloud-native applications
- Support and further development of the cloud-based system landscape (Microsoft Azure, AWS)
- Automated provisioning and configuration of cloud infrastructures and platforms (Terraform, Ansible)
- Providing, improving, and designing solutions for container operation (Kubernetes, AKS)
- Supporting other departments in the automation of IT infrastructure processes
