The Spare Parts Administrator serves as the primary customer support representative for the Spare Parts Department. This role is responsible for processing customer orders and handling various spare parts requests, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment. The administrator will create, monitor, and manage spare parts orders, working closely with internal teams to guarantee efficient delivery. Acting as the main point of contact for customers, the Spare Parts Administrator plays a key role in maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and operational efficiency for Swisslog's spare parts department.
Make an impact
- Work within our Sales Force and Zendesk ticketing system to ensure all customer spare parts requests are process in a timely and accurate manner
- Create quotes, sales orders and purchase orders within our SAP system
- Create and maintain material master, pricing and vendor records in our SAP System
- Evaluate vendor performance, pricing, and lead times to facilitate orders
- Research part numbers and discretions for Swisslog and non-Swisslog equipment
- Effectively communicate with customer to efficiently satisfy spare part requests
- Prepare and present pricing and Leadtime offers for spare parts
What you need to succeed
- 1 year experience working in Customer Service
- High School degree or higher education
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office suite products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point)
Desirable
- 1 year experience working in a parts Department
- SAP experience
- Sales Force experience
- 3 years’ experience in logistics / supply chain
