Our Project Controller is responsible for the support of project and department managers in all finance and ERP systems related matters during the project life cycle including pre-sales, execution, and warranty. Mainly the cost accounting, analysis, controlling and forecasting on the active projects in realization, and participation in the monthly PPR’s. Project controllers are responsible for supporting our monthly closing process as well as statutory US GAAP, IFRS, Internal Controls Systems, and sales & use tax audits throughout the year.

Make an impact

• Maintain and develop the existing project controlling tools & reports
• Maintain, develop, and create local project controlling reports for communication with business unit managers to guide decision making
• Support Business Unit Manager in monitoring and analyzing KPI’s
• Support Project Manager in monitoring and analyzing KPI’s
• Responsible for the commercial status in the ERP system for all projects assigned
• Project Cash Flow reporting, forecasting, and analysis
• Participating in the monthly Project Review meetings
• Participate in local risk reviews and lessons learned sessions as required
• Compile and analyze data to prepare quarterly forecast
• Support Business Unit Manager and department managers to develop the annual budget for the business unit and develop hourly rates
• Support department managers in the monthly analysis of FPO and definition of actions
• Support other accounting personnel in monthly activities (balance sheet analysis, divisional reporting, corporate reporting)

What you need to succeed

BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
3-5 years of experience in financial analyst or controlling role
Good analytical & problem-solving skills
Experience in controlling in industrial environment
MS-Office proficiency (particularly Excel & Power BI)
Working independently and collaborating with a team
Negotiations skills
Communicates openly and effectively with management

Desirable

Solid Interest in the business
Experience in project business
SAP experience
Global & International business knowledge
