Make an impact
- You work in an international environment to design, develop and test software customizations to Swisslog’s standard software solutions for automated warehousing operations.
- You transform functional requirements into software design, code and validate it according to the defined test cases.
- You ensure adherence to all the relevant instructions and standards of the Swisslog Quality Management System.
- You perform on-demand source code analysis to foster troubleshooting activities of live installations.
- You ensure that documentation produced for a project is kept up-to-date and is available for delivery according to the project requirements.
- Also the support of activities at client sites is part of your job.
What you need to succeed
- Degree in Computer Engineering or a related subject
- Experience in a commercial software development environment
- Previous experience in working in a team providing software solutions
- Experience in Object Oriented Analysis and Design, with strong Java (SE, EE) knowledge
- Experience in enterprise Java APIs - JPA, JMS
- Experience in SQL programming
- Understanding of Relational database concepts and architecture
- Fluency in English
