As a Project Manager in Product Development, you will play a pivotal role in shaping future-ready products that meet evolving market needs. As a Project Manager in the dynamic intralogistics sector, you'll lead product development projects in the Technology & Software department, the center for R&D at Swisslog. With a strong technical knowledge base, you'll drive initiatives, ensuring that electrical, mechanical, controls software teams align seamlessly towards shared objectives.
Make an impact
- Planning and managing project teams and budgets effectively.
- Reporting project progress/risks to the steering committee & stakeholders
- Document and communicate the ongoing development work within and outside the project team
- Challenging assumptions and influencing project outcomes with innovative thinking.
- Leading pre-studies to secure good foundations for future development projects.
- Conduct investigations and compile decision-making documents.

What you need to succeed
- You hold a technical academic degree or comparable knowledge acquired through experience.
- You have formal theoretical project management training / certification, preferably in agile methodologies
- Experience in leading technical product development projects, preferably in an international environment and experienced in managing agile teams (bonus: experience with scrum)
- Preferably, you have experience with automated machines, and systems. Desirable experience with PLC based controls software projects.
- You have a strong interest in project management and technical projects.
- You are a confident leader with a stable and structured working method combined with clear communication and responsiveness.
- Ability to independently drive your work forward while also being happy to collaborate with others
- Good communication skills in English, with a willingness to work with international teams
