Make an impact
- Design, develop, and deploy MES applications using Java and related technologies,
- integrate MES with ERP, SCADA, PLCs, and other industrial systems,
- collaborate with manufacturing engineers and IT teams to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions,
- develop and maintain system documentation, including technical specifications and user manuals,
- troubleshoot and resolve MES-related issues in a timely manner,
- ensure system scalability, performance, and security,
- participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
What you need to succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field,
- 3+ years of experience in Java development,
- hands-on experience with MES platforms (e.g., Siemens Opcenter, Rockwell FactoryTalk, GE Proficy, or similar),
- strong understanding of manufacturing processes and shop floor systems,
- experience with SQL databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, Maria DB),
- familiarity with RESTful APIs, web services, and integration frameworks,
- familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies,
- experience with version control systems (e.g., Git),
- excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
