Make an impact
In the role as System Operations Manager you will lead daily operations at one of our biggest customer sites in the Nordic region, ensuring service delivery meets or exceeds contractual expectations. Our customer is Varner and the site is located in Vänersborg, about 1 hour north of Gothenburg.
- Build strong customer relationships with many different stakeholders through regular communication, KPI reporting, and participation in planning meetings. You will act as the main link between our successful operations at customer site and your Swisslog team.
- Drive continuous improvement by leading technical enhancements and promoting best practices across the team.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external suppliers, including Systems Support, to ensure seamless service integration.
- Manage and develop your team, fostering a culture of motivation, coaching, and high performance.
- Ensure compliance and safety, upholding Swisslog’s HSE standards and regulatory requirements.
- Own the budget and reporting, with a proactive approach to identifying growth opportunities through additional services and change orders.
- Act as the automation expert, providing guidance and support to optimize system performance and customer satisfaction.
What you need to succeed
- You hold a technical education degree within automation, engineering or equivalent.
- Proven leadership experience, with a track record of managing teams in industrial environments.
- Strong communicator, fluent in Swedish and English (written and spoken) and a confident user of digital tools, including MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and computer-based maintenance systems.
- Committed to continuous improvement, with experience driving technical and operational enhancements.
- Safety-conscious, with knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Financially aware, with experience in budgeting and cost control
