Swisslog are seeking a dynamic Solution Manager based in Dortmund with hybrid working available.
The Solution Manager is responsible for translating commercial customer requirements into a coherent end-to-end technical solution by defining blueprints, workflows, selecting and integrating appropriate products across storage, transportation and goods handling domains, and ensuring seamless software integration and user experience design, while coordinating all necessary inputs for solution development by creating clear requirements, architectures and technical concepts that enable blueprint creation and development execution.
At the same time, the role ensures operational and service readiness by defining scalable, maintainable and supportable solutions empowering regional sales, solution design and realization teams allowing for smooth and scalable deployment across markets.
- Translate Commercial Requirements
Translate customer requirements and commercial solution concepts into a clear technical scope, defining blueprints and workflows, system architecture, product selection, software integration and user experience.
- Coordinate Solution Development Inputs
Provide structured requirements and technical input for solution blueprint creation, ensuring alignment with product management and solution development across specifications, interfaces and development scope.
- Ensure Operational & Service Readiness
Ensure the solution is easy to sell, easy to maintain and easy to operate by defining service concepts, operational processes (e.g. execution methodology) and clear solution documentation.
- Regional Enablement
Enable regional sales, solution design and realization teams through guidance, training and support to ensure consistent understanding and application of the solution.
- Manage Enablement Assets
Maintain and continuously improve templates, tools and knowledge repositories to support scalable deployment and consistent knowledge transfer.
- Budget Allocation
Prioritize and allocate technical enablement resources and budget to support solution readiness, quality and business impact.
What you need to succeed
- Experience in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or a comparable technical or business-related field
- 5+ years working experience within intralogistics (customer or supplier side) is desirable
- Experience in intralogistics and/or warehouse automation
- Successful in balancing relationships across regional, global and stakeholder levels
- Fluent German and English
