What you need to succeed
You bring over 5 years of experience in software development, ideally with a strong foundation in AI, reinforcement learning, and optimization. Whether you’ve worked in automotive route planning, tackled 3D bin packing, or solved mixed-case palletizing challenges — you’re ready to take on the next big thing.
You should have:
- Proven experience in solving complex combination problems and applying reinforcement learning in real-world scenarios.
- Strong coding skills in Python, CUDA, and/or C++.
- A deep understanding of intralogistics and its unique challenges.
- Experience in automotive or route planning is a strong plus.
- Ideally, hands-on experience with 3D bin packing and mixed-case palletizing.
- A proactive mindset and the ability to work independently while also challenging and inspiring your team.
- Fluency in German and English for seamless communication across teams.
