Make an impact

  • As Project Procurement Manager EMEA (m/f/d) you will manage all direct materials used in projects for the whole EMEA region. You will work on this and the following topics hybrid from our modern office in Dortmund or from your home office.
  • In addition to that you will collaborate with our Product Center to align make or buy decisions with long-term strategic goals
  • Furthermore, you will work closely with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and specifications and establish the Project Roadmap
  • Other important points are the negotiations with the suppliers in order to evaluate best price performance ratio
  • You will work on our Supplier Management like create ratings, organizing reviews and support supplier audits
  • Another decisive factor is the collaboration with Material Group Management, Global Procurement and Solution Center
  • You will give input for developing and optimizing the workflow for Purchase Requests
  • To round off, you will work on the topic of procurement relevant KPI’s 

What you need to succeed

  • The basis of your profile is your engineering degree or commercial degree with good technical knowledge
  • You have minimal 3-5 years experience, in operative and strategic purchasing
  • You can rely on your Supply Chain Management experience in comparable industries and project-oriented solutions in your daily work
  • Furthermore, you have a good knowledge of contract and local regulations as well as good negotiation skills 
  • In addition to that you have experience as Project Manager to manage transregional project with multiple sites
  • You demonstrate fluent communication in English, in written and spoken
  • Your profile is rounded off by your knowledge in SAP R3 MM with focus on purchasing transactions
