Make an impact

This role will act as the key driver of strategic projects and programs within Global PMO and lead cross-functional, cross-regional initiatives at the global scale. Initiatives of direct responsibility for this role with include Planisware 2.0, rollout of global project planning and scheduling standards. This function will liaise closely with regional stakeholders and external vendors to achieve a synergetic rollout of strategic initiatives.

 

  • PPM Transformation: Lead the full project delivery of Planisware 2.0 from cradle to grave and act as the business owner beyond full rollout.
  • Strategic Programs: Act as the owner of strategic initiatives within Global PMO and drive rollout with regional partners. Orchestrate effective execution and provide governance oversight for strategic initiatives.
  • Functional Engagement: Core member of the Global PMO team supporting development of new initiatives and ongoing governance activities to achieve stated business objectives.
  • Continuous Improvement: Represent Global PMO in continuous improvement initiatives at a tactical and strategic level, drive sharing and adoption of best practices at the global level.
  • Engagement with Leadership: Provide status overview to management including Executive Leadership members through varied channels of engagement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate regular meetings with key stakeholders to review performance, address issues, and update plans. Ensure all departments are aligned with the overall business strategy.

What you need to succeed

  • Technical understanding of intralogistics and project delivery
  • Understanding of project management practices, professional project management PMI certification
  • Experience of implementing enterprise ERP and PPM solution
  • Proficient German and English language skills 
  • General awareness of corporate strategy and tactical business acumen  
  • Experience of vendor management and negotiation
  • Project schedule management
