Are you ready to take on a role where your expertise keeps mission-critical systems running smoothly? As a Database Administrator, you’ll work in a fast-growing environment, ensuring stability and performance for SQL and/or Oracle databases that power our logistics solutions. This is a customer facing position with occasional on-call duties. You’ll combine technical know-how with customer interaction—supporting projects from sizing and implementation to troubleshooting, while maintaining and optimizing databases through regular patching and updates. 

• Your focus will be on managing and optimizing our SQL database and application server solutions. Here you can demonstrate your technical skills and contribute to the stability and efficiency of our systems.
• You enjoy installing, maintaining, and supporting highly available SQL database and application server solutions. You will create and implement backup/recovery and monitoring concepts in the logistics environment.
• Performance analysis and tuning are part of your routine. You will continuously optimize our systems and thus contribute to improving our services.
• You enjoy providing consulting services in the database/application server area for internal and external clients. Your expertise and communication skills are essential.
• Creating and evaluating technical and commercial documents tailored to the recipient (specifications, offers, system documentation, etc.) comes easily to you. Your expertise will help us make our processes more efficient.
• You are a member of the on-call team. Your reliability and commitment are particularly important here.

What you need to succeed

• You bring extensive experience of several years and a confident handling of SQL or Oracle databases and application servers. Your expertise is the key to our success.
• A degree or vocational training in computer science/data/information processing is advantageous. Your sound knowledge will help us achieve our goals.
• A structured, independent work style and clear communication – both internally and externally – are key for you. Your organizational skills and communication abilities are particularly important here.
• We expect you to be communicative, motivated, and confident. Your positive attitude and self-confidence will inspire us.
• Your responsible, customer-oriented approach and experience with production systems set you apart. Your professionalism and commitment are important to us.
• Experience with on-call duties (rotating as part of a team) and intralogistics systems is an advantage. Your flexibility and team spirit are essential.
• German is a strong plus and will make collaboration with local colleagues even smoother.
