The Senior Product Manager drives value creation and market leadership for assigned product(s) in the global Pharmacy Automation portfolio.  The Product Manager ensures the success of the product lifecycle by understanding the customers’ needs and experience, translating the customers’ pain points into requirements, and then creating and executing the product roadmap in partnership with Engineering and Development.

 

You are the key partner for all product topics, working closely with sales, marketing, logistics and manufacturing teams, as well as project and customer service teams. Assigned products may include internally developed products and third-party solutions from our Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) partners.  Working within the overall strategic direction set by Pharmacy Automation leadership, the Product Manager develops product strategy, product roadmaps and supports the go-to-market campaigns, in partnership with sales and marketing. You are responsible for continuous product improvement and overall product-life-cycle management.

Make an impact

  • Identify market needs in the pharmacy/hospital and healthcare provider industry. Become a customer expert and work closely with Engineering and Development (E&D) to refine and deliver product features.
  • Own product research, competitive analysis, and discovery for your assigned product(s).  Partner with regional markets and local teams to include their expertise. Champion new product features that grow our market share and improve the customer experience.
  • Identify specific business problems to solve with our solutions. Define problem statements supported by customer feedback and informed by data and represent the voice of the customer.
  • Develop market requirements collaboratively with global stakeholders, in support of product investments and business cases, and consistent with our innovation processes.
  • Define product requirements, use cases, and user stories based on gathered insights and with a customer-centric approach.
  • Define, own, and promote a strategic roadmap for assigned product(s).  Communicate the vision and key initiatives to both internal and external customers, addressing both short and long-term goals and objectives. Drive growth by translating product strategy into requirements.
  • Identify and prioritize new features and improvements for your assigned product(s). Be prepared to manage tradeoffs and compromises to deliver on the release plan and roadmap and communicate your decisions and recommendations to the business.
  • Support our innovation processes with your preparation and delivery of on-time status updates for project and program reviews and other related activities.
  • Lead the introduction of new products to our customers and teams, following the stage-gate requirements in our innovation processes. Take ownership of pilot activities and support the handover to our Sales and Services teams.
  • Go-To-Market: As the product subject matter expert, lead interdepartmental launch activities to execute feature release plans, including influencing marketing collateral, sales activities, and operational readiness.
  • Develop and oversee the product lifecycle plan for all assigned products.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.

What you need to succeed

  • Bachelor of Science Degree
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in product management or in roles with product related responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, results-oriented, cross-functional environment.
  • Competencies in IT and software topics, capable of communicating with our IT experts.

 

Desirable, but not Essential:

  • Career experience in the healthcare/ healthcare IT market
  • Sales and Marketing experience
  • Knowledge of Pharmacy Automation Products/Solutions.
  • MBA or other advanced business degree
  • Experience working with international teams.

 

Target salary range for this position is $90- 140,000, plus bonus. Salary will be commensurate with experience and skillset. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical / dental / vision insurance, tuition reimbursement, disability, 401k matching (up to 8%).
