Swisslog Healthcare's One-Year Postdoctoral Pharmacy Fellowship program offers a unique opportunity a PharmD graduate to develop expertise at the intersection of pharmacy practice, healthcare technology, medication safety, automation, and healthcare innovation. The fellowship builds upon Swisslog Healthcare's longstanding commitment to pharmacy education, including student experiential programs and university partnerships.
Unlike many healthcare industry fellowships focused solely on pharmaceutical sciences, this program immerses fellows in the technologies, workflows, and systems that support medication management across the healthcare enterprise.
As a fellow, you will:
- Influence innovations that impact healthcare providers and patients worldwide
- Work directly with pharmacy leaders and healthcare executives
- Gain exposure to emerging healthcare technologies and innovation strategies
- Develop a strong foundation for leadership roles in healthcare technology, industry, consulting, and professional affairs
- Work on real-world challenges facing modern healthcare systems
- Help shape the future of medication-use systems and healthcare delivery
- Build expertise in medication-use systems and healthcare operations
Fellowship dates: One year program - July 2027 to June 2028
Make an impact
During the one-year fellowship, participants will develop competencies through a combination of structured rotations, strategic projects, mentorship, and external engagement opportunities. Fellows will be responsible for the completion of assigned projects, working collaboratively with marketing, product management, sales and business development. The Fellow can expect to be engaged with our global teams in a variety of areas, to include:
Pharmacy Affairs
- Scientific communication and education
- Industry trend analysis
- Market assessment and competitive intelligence
Thought Leadership and Professional Engagement
- Participation in professional organizations and industry conferences
- Development of white papers, case studies, and educational content
- Presentation opportunities at healthcare and pharmacy meetings
Product Development and Customer Experience
- Voice-of-customer initiatives
- Clinical input into innovation programs
- Collaboration with product, engineering, and marketing teams
What you need to succeed
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy
- Eligible for employment in the United States

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- A self-starter, flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities

Location
- In-office, working from our North American Headquarters in Westminster, Colorado
Benefits
- Salary: $70,000 annually, for the 12-month program
