Make an impact
- Engineer, operate, orchestrate, and continuously evolve the company’s Microsoft‑centric security technology stack,
- Own and develop security capabilities across the Microsoft 365 security ecosystem, including:
- Microsoft Defender XDR
- Microsoft Sentinel (SIEM/SOAR)
- Microsoft Entra ID security (Conditional Access, Identity Protection, Multi-Factor Authentication, Privileged Identity Management)
- Microsoft Purview (Information Protection, Data Loss Prevention, Insider Risk Management)
- Microsoft Security Copilot
- Design, implement and maintain scalable end-to-end detection, analytics, and response capabilities, including automation,
- Drive and continuously improve preventive and hardening measures across identity, endpoint, cloud, and network security domains,
- Enable effective security operations by supporting and advising the Security Operations Center (SOC),
- Evaluate new Microsoft security features and contribute to security architecture standards and guidelines,
- Support technical security controls and evidence preparation for audits and certifications (e.g., TISAX, ISO27001).
What you need to succeed
- Several years of hands-on experience in Cyber Security Engineering, IT Infrastructure Security, or a comparable technical role within an enterprise environment,
- Practical experience with the Microsoft 365 security ecosystem, in particular:
- Microsoft Defender XDR,
- Microsoft Sentinel (SIEM/SOAR),
- Microsoft Entra ID security (Conditional Access, MFA, Identity Protection, PIM),
- Microsoft Purview,
- Solid understanding of modern detection and response concepts, including alerting, analytics and basic incident response workflows,
- Experience with automation or orchestration in security operations,
- Good understanding of enterprise IT environments (identity, endpoints, cloud, network),
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate security requirements into technical solutions,
- Strong initiative and willingness to take ownership of technical tasks and projects and grow responsibility over time,
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams,
- Willingness to travel a few times per year and work non-standard hours if required,
- Very good written and spoken English, German is a plus,
- Desirable: Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., SC-100, SC-200, SC-300, SC-401).
