Make an impact

  • Act as main quality contact person between suppliers and KUKA
  • Own APQP process and report supplier status to internal stakeholders
  • Evaluate and improve supplier maturity level according to project milestones
  • Handling and coordinating supplier complaints, monitoring supplier performance and defining corrective actions together with supplier
  • Conduct supplier process audits (VDA 6.3) and ensure corrective actions are implemented on time and effectively
  • Support FMEA workshops including risk management
  • Approve supplier PPA and assure handover to Production Quality Management group
  • Drive lessons learned and continuous improvement with suppliers to ensure new product development
  • Manage supplier change management and evaluate impact on projects and product 

What you need to succeed

  • Completed degree in one of the following fields: Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering or a comparable qualification
  • 5+ years proven experience as process auditor with proven record of organizing and implementing VDA 6.3 audits independently
  • 5+ years product and process development experience in automotive/industrial manufacturing field
  • Solid knowledge of APQP, PPAP, VDA 6.3 (with certification), FMEA, Quality Core tools, control plan, MSA, GD&T, capacity evaluations, OEE sheet, process flow chart
  • Advanced knowledge of problem- solving methods (5why, 8D, A3, Ishikawa)
  • Ability to lead quality improvement projects and initiatives
  • Data-driven decision-making personality, self-organized team player with ability to manage multi-suppliers, as well as project management skills
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with strong personal integrity
  • Strong communication skills in English, Chinese or German language is beneficial
  • Willingness to travel internationally (up to 75%)
  • Driver license (category B)
