Make an impact

  • Server Configuration and Maintenance: Maintain and Improve the existing hardware setup of Siemens Polarion ALM Linux Webservers including backup-strategy using Windows and Linux.
  • Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues and outages including reviewing logs and stats, ensure security and create maintaining technical documentation.
  • Interface to IT and other departments: Align hardware and software strategy with IT department and other KUKA divisions, ensure a proper permission management, and maintain licenses.
  • API and Database development: Own the API and support our users with their scripts to read from and write to ALM Siemens Polarion. Bring in your Experience in Microsoft SQL, SAP or Oracle database programming skills to connect those databases via API.
  • Macros and Scripts: Development and Maintenance of Scripts/Macros withing ALM Polarion using Java and Velocity. Basic experience in Web-development (html/css/javascript) is beneficial.
  • Improve and Own Development Processes: Review and improve existing development processes especially in the area of Product Test Management. This includes improving Polarion documents, work items, and workflows and their content.
  • User and Project Support: Support colleagues daily regarding understanding and application of Product Development Processes. Implement performance measurements and modern development methodologies in alignment with the Head of Processes and Methods.

What you need to succeed

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, engineering study or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience in system administration for Linux server, license and permission management.
  • Profound knowledge for Web-, Script-, API-, and database development.
  • Intermediate knowledge of development processes and RACI.
  • Knowledge of the ALM-Software Siemens Polarion is very beneficial.
  • High passion on methodical work and for documentation.
  • Excellent communication and moderation skills.
  • Fluent in English and Hungarian. Chinese or German language are beneficial but not required.
