Make an impact
- Hardware-related software development in the field of real-time systems and Linux for operating devices of KUKA robot controllers (BSP development)
- Development of service-oriented interfaces and the underlying services to enable HW access from higher software layers
- Clarification of technical requirements and design, create estimations and active participation in product development
- Implementation, support and maintenance of the operating device software
- Conception and creation of automated component/unit tests as the basis for the release of the entire software as a product
What you need to succeed
- BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Advanced English language knowledge (German is a plus)
- Knowledge of software development with C / C ++, including newer standards
- Experience with RobotFramework
- Skilled in shell scripts
- Understanding of Linux device trees
- Good knowledge of the Linux driver model
- Knowledge of different build systems, kBuild, cmake and Makefiles
- Knowledge of docker for continuous integration development
- Familiar with development principles in Qt and with Web-Sockets
- Good knowledge of GRPC
- Embedded I/O (I2C, SPI, UART)
