Make an impact

  • Lead and mentor a team of DevOps, Infrastructure, and Cloud Engineers to optimize IT/OT platforms and product/solution delivery systems for continuous updating core Warehouse Automation systems.
  • Define and execute the DevOps roadmap for real-time deployments and updating of core platforms, products, and solutions.
  • Collaborate with software engineering and IT teams to enhance operational efficiency of platform builds, automated testing, security scanning/validations, and deployment validation using emulation systems.
  • Develop and maintain DevOps best practices for both global and regional teams.
  • Design procedures and processes that ensure DevOps and security compliancy.
  • Design and manage high-availability on-premises and cloud edge infrastructure (Azure, AWS, etc)
  • Manage and optimize platform edge computing environments to support real-time operations as related to core infrastructure utilized by Software systems.
  • Ensure Infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi or other IaC languages are maintained by team to support platform(s) utilized by warehouse products and solutions.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines the support software & controls deployments, IoT firmware updates, and AI-driven logistics applications with KPI/metrics around operational capabilities to include automated rollback and failover strategies.
  • Develop extensible CI/CD pipelines that can be shared and utilized by customer service groups for ongoing lifecycle management of products and solutions.
  • Ensure compliancy for team and architectures to support ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR and any certifications established for logistics data security.
  • Establish and maintain real-time observability frameworks for monitoring pipeline, infrastructure, and other areas of the products and solutions as part of the base platform.

What you need to succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • 7+ years of DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or other experience in the areas for key responsibilities with at least 2+ years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in infrastructure and Industrial IoT environments support products and solutions on a continuous delivery model
  • Strong background in CI/CD, Kubernetes, technologies and tools as noted in key responsibilities and preferred if also has cloud-native architecture background.
  • Experience managing hybrid cloud/on-prem infrastructure that is highly configurable, updateable, and manageable through a defined lifecycle approach.
  • CI/CD & Automation expertise in GitLab, GitOps, ArgoCD, Jenkins, GitHub or any other platforms that perform these functions. Preferred to have experience in more than one tool.
  • Infrastructure as Code experience in at least one language: Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi, or CloudFormation (preferred Terraform).
  • Containerization and orchestration experience using Kubernetes (i.e. EKS, AKS, K3s, MicroK8s), Helm, or service mesh platforms.
  • Monitoring, observability, and metrics reporting utilizing Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk, OpenTelemetry or any other software frameworks that support data collection, reporting, and analysis.
