Make an impact

  • Responsible for daily communication with European suppliers as interface for KUKA Systems China by maintaining stable supplier relationships.
  • Responsible for effectively sourcing at European suppliers for services, such as mechanical installation and commissioning, electrical installation and commissioning, robot commissioning, safety officer, etc.
  • Responsible for effectively sourcing at European suppliers for material resources, including standard parts, custom equipment, and on-site tool accessories.
  • Responsible for promoting KUKA China's competitive products, such as non-standard processing parts, standard parts, standard equipment, etc., and winning KUKA's internal business globally.
  • Strengthening collaboration between European and Chinese KUKA entities, such as integrating non-standard processing parts, standard parts, and standard equipment, to enhance global competitiveness.
  • Ordering, schedule monitoring, invoice verification, and handling of complaints
  • Conducting analyses and deriving action options
  • Preparing international tenders, evaluating offers, and independently negotiating prices, contracts, and conditions using the latest negotiation methods (e.g., game theory)
  • Global sourcing, supplier qualification, development, and management
  • Analyzing global procurement markets using new methods (e.g., artificial intelligence) and identifying opportunities and risks in supply markets/suppliers

What you need to succeed

  • Completed degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification
  • Extensive professional experience in industrial procurement and international environments within the automotive sector
  • Outstanding negotiation skills and assertiveness
  • Strong conceptual abilities combined with entrepreneurial thinking
  • Proficiency in SAP/S4 Hana and confident use of MS Office
  • Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken
  • Structured, goal-oriented, and results-driven working style
  • Willingness to travel
  • Good communication and organizational skills 
  • Strong team spirit
