Make an impact
- Consolidation of the single entities into the consolidated financial statements of KUKA AG;
- Investigation of data irregularities and implementation of necessary corrective measures;
- Supporting subsidiaries in all accounting and system-related reporting issues;
- Maintaining contacts and exchanges with domestic and foreign consolidated subsidiaries;
- Independently develop the effects of new legal requirements (IFRS) and their implementation throughout the KUKA Group;
- Initiation of necessary measures in various reporting and accounting topics as well as coordination with other areas;
- Further development of the Group-wide accounting manual;
- Independent analysis of IFRS topics;
- Independent supervision of internal and external reporting tasks;
- Critically review the overall financial statement preparation process and identify areas for improvement;
- Train other team members and employees in subsidiaries on legal requirements and the IT landscape used;
What you need to succeed
- Successfully completed degree in economics with a focus on finance and accounting;
- Several years of professional experience with an auditing firm and/or in the finance and accounting department of an international group;
- Sound accounting knowledge (IFRS);
- Sound knowledge of consolidation;
- Understanding of processes and methods in group accounting as well as in the preparation of financial statements of international companies;
- In-depth understanding of overall accounting contexts;
- Very good command of written and spoken English;
- Partial willingness to travel worldwide;
- Strong intercultural understanding;
- Sound knowledge of methods, standards and reporting requirements in the area of sustainability would be an advantage;
