We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated International Tax Manager (m/f/d) to join our dynamic team at the OTCOE EMEA (Overseas Tax Center of Excellence). The OTCOE EMEA supports Midea group companies in the region – with a particular focus on transfer pricing, tax planning, and restructurings. This position requires a deep understanding of international transfer pricing and tax regulations, as well as the ability to navigate complex tax issues in a fast-paced environment.

Transfer Pricing:
- Develop and implement transfer pricing strategies to ensure compliance with international regulations
- Prepare and review transfer pricing documentation and reports
- Conduct transfer pricing analyses and collaborate with internal teams to ensure appropriate implementation of transfer pricing arrangements
Tax Planning:
- Develop and execute international tax planning strategies to optimize the company’s global tax position
- Monitor changes in international tax legislation and assess their impact on the company
Restructurings:
- Lead the tax aspects of corporate restructurings, including entity rationalization and intercompany financing
- Evaluate and implement tax-efficient structures for business operations and supply chains
- Advise on tax implications of transformations and reorganizations
Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with international tax laws and regulations
- Oversee the preparation and review of international tax returns and related filings
- Manage collaboration with external tax advisors and authorities
Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate tax risks in international operations
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures for tax risk management
- Conduct regular health checks to ensure compliance and identify optimization opportunities
What you need to succeed
- Degree in Tax Law, Accounting, or Finance; a Master’s degree or professional qualification (e.g., Tax Advisor, CPA, CTA) is a plus
- At least 5–6 years of professional experience in taxation, ideally within a multinational company
- Strong knowledge of international tax law
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Outstanding communication and teamwork abilities
- Independent and team-oriented working style
- Proficient in tax software and MS Office
- Flexible working hours and options for remote work
