Kuka has been active in the field of friction and magnetarc welding for over 50 years. The application areas are manifold, our systems can be found in almost every conceivable industry such as automotive, aviation and industrial automation. From thin-walled hollow valves to turbines for aircraft engines - we are represented in all kinds of applications and can look back on an installed base of over 1,500 machines. We differentiate ourselves from our market competitors through numerous industrial property rights and in-house developments. As the latest and newest technology in our portfolio, we also offer friction stir welding (FSW) with great success.
Our own software applications are particularly noteworthy, which are used for real-time process control and complex control sequences for electromechanical and servo-hydraulic axes. Our systems are developed, built and commissioned entirely in-house - and you can participate as a (Senior) Software Developer C++/C#/HTML5 for real-time control of FSW, friction welding and magnetarc welding systems (m/f/d) and benefit from them!
Make an impact
- Realisation of software applications for process control and documentation in real time
- Further development of existing software applications with modern technologies
- Maintenance and improvement of software and software architecture
- Optimisation of simulation environments through automated software tests
- Development of software concepts, design and selection of system and hardware components
- Technical coordination with other departments, suppliers and customers
- Creation of software and project documentation
- Agile and dynamic environment with the opportunity to actively contribute to all topics
What you need to succeed
- Degree in computer science, computer engineering or a comparable qualification
- Relevant professional experience in the realisation of complex .net applications (C#)
- Significant knowledge of HTML5 & JavaScript/TypeScript and git
- Knowledge of Beckhoff TwinCAT 3, ADS, OPC-UA, CSS, common network protocols, real-time software solutions (C++) and SQL is an advantage
- Desired experience with InstallShield and test automation
- Customer- and cost-orientated thinking and acting
- Enthusiasm for software development
- Open mindset, eagerness to learn, structured way of working and initiative
- Good level of English and German is necessary
