The Delivery Solution Architect (SA) gathers and documents software project requirements for customer approval, then ensures cross-functional Swisslog teams understand and fulfil them.

The Delivery SA is responsible for executing the tasks outlined in this document, ensuring the delivery of value, standardization, cost efficiency, and maintainability of Swisslog Software solutions throughout Swisslog Americas for all clients.

  • Possess expertise in Swisslog Software Product Suite functionality and operation
  • Know how to customize each functional area
  • Understand Swisslog Controls Product Suite
  • Lead requirements workshops with customers
  • Create Functional Specifications
  • Create Host Interface Specifications
  • Address requirement gaps via Change Orders
  • Prepare and update requirements gathering materials
  • Support requirement management for related teams

What you need to succeed

Essential

  • Formal qualifications in engineering and/or computer science, or a related field
  • Working knowledge of the Warehouse and Distribution business sector and operational processes
  • At least five years’ experience in providing Software and/or Controls solutions
  • Working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems
  • Working knowledge of Material Flow Control Systems

 

Desirable

  • Other software/controls product SME certification
  • Working knowledge of PLC controls and control logic
  • Experience in defining, procuring, installing and maintaining IT Hardware, Controls Hardware and their supporting infrastructure
