Make an impact
- Lead the technical aspects of the sales process, understanding customer requirements and reviewing solutions for customer projects.
- Collaborate with clients and internal Swisslog sales teams to develop innovative intralogistics concepts that set Swisslog apart from competitors.
- Assess existing customer operations to identify areas of improvement and opportunities for Swisslog solutions.
- Analyze complex customer data and processes to identify current challenges and opportunities, summarizing business performance, trends, and future needs.
- Design optimal material flow solutions focused on delivering long-term customer value and minimizing lifetime costs.
- Develop and evaluate distribution and fulfillment concepts that align with customer requirements and key values.
- Create solution layouts using 3D visualization tools and CAD software.
- Compile clear and compelling documentation and presentations to communicate the benefits of proposed Swisslog solutions to customers.
- Calculate costs based on the technical design of subsystems and overall integrated systems, in collaboration with the Sales Project Manager.
- Evaluate alternative solutions and prepare ROI and business case calculations.
- Support the development of software strategies to optimize the overall solution design.
- Support the preparation of technical specifications, drawings, and RFQs in collaboration with Purchasing and System Engineering.
- Review technical specifications, drawings, and proposed solutions for accuracy and effectiveness.
- Coordinate the integration of Swisslog systems with those from other suppliers to ensure cohesive design.
- Work with system engineers to create detailed designs that meet project requirements.
- Utilize and enhance standard tools for solution optimization and assessment.
What you need to succeed
- Solution and complex project development in the Automated Material Handling / Intralogistics sector
- Design & Technical background, preferably in the material handling market
- Capability to work in cross functional team
- Good communication skills, persuasive, prepare and hold professional presentations to end customer
- Open minded in assessing and solving technical and business related issue
