You will be joining an industry poised for significant growth. This critical new role will lead a small team, providing you with an opportunity to showcase your leadership and technical abilities.
Make an impact
As the key interface with our customers, you will develop collaborative relationships to ensure the seamless management and execution of repairs and maintenance for our automation equipment. You will take the lead in planning lifecycle activities and provide high-level management to our maintenance team.
In collaboration with our customers, you will identify opportunities to support and drive growth, ensuring site improvement plans continue to add value while seeking ways to create efficient product solutions.
While year-to-year planning is crucial, let’s first discuss your day-to-day responsibilities, which include:
• Based at site, you will manage and coordinate the automation equipment maintenance services for our customer site in Truganina.
• Representing Swisslog to the customer for all on site issues and acting as the communication channel between the facility management (customer), Swisslog and its suppliers.
• Monitor the operation in a pro-active manner to ensure equipment availability, servicing and performance is in accordance with contract and SLA’s.
• Review and update the Preventative Maintenance (PM) Plan to achieve schedules, forecast and mitigate potential risks to output across labour planning, equipment, tools, projects and costs
• Develop safety as part of the culture through behavioural management, compliance and promotion of safety processes and policies
What you need to succeed
They key to your success will be your natural ability to lead and grow teams. Additionally, you will be diligent in your approach to planning ensuring the execution of site activities are strategic and proactive. With a technical background, ideally you will come from maintenance environment across automation equipment in DC’s however this is not mandatory. Technical qualifications are required, ideally within electrical field however mechanical will also be considered.
