In this role in our Product Management organization, you are leading an entire robot system within a product line globally, developing its strategic direction, and fostering growth and success. You collect and analyze requirements complementary to KUKA Chinas Senior Strategic Product Managers main geographic location.

 

Make an impact

  • Define a compelling product system vision & strategy for low payload class portfolio – in alignment with the specific global industry strategies
  • Drive and consolidate market and customer analysis (incl. target price), trends and customer / industry expectations and needs
  • Understand the market trends and demands in Electronics/ Tier 1 / Automotive Industry and effectively translate them into global system strategies and requirements
  • Be responsible for your own budget and define a minimal sellable system that balances needs across relevant use-cases, development costs, and time
  • Manage and steer the expectation for (multiple) large project teams, define the overall vision, align subordinate targets – be responsible for volume, target (system) price, system costs, and development costs
  • Functionally manage and coordinate a team of Platform Product Managers
  • Clarify complex, high quantity, and information to effectively establish the future robotics portfolio
  • Create new product candidates within low payload class, including business case, and requirements
  • Ensure a quick and efficient time-to-market of newly defined system/product
  • Track and monitor the performance of the system through all phases along predefined KPI, initiate mitigation action if required

What you need to succeed

  • Master`s degree in the relevant field (business, engineering, industrial engineering)
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience (preferably within Product Management or Corporate Strategy functions), with a minimum of 5+ years leadership experience in an international business environment OR at 5+ years of Top-Tier Management Consulting
  • Knowledge of robot system (Kinematic, Controller, Software - OS/Apps), Electronics/ Tier 1 / Automotive Industry and experience in customer/market analysis, requirement development, product strategy definition, and business case creation
  • Ability to make good and timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward, and maneuver comfortably through complex policy, process, and people-related organizational dynamics while mitigating risks
  • Hands-on mindset to take on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm
  • Experience in building partnerships and work collaboratively with Product Management and other functions to meet shared objectives
